Do any of you think that it's really lame and stupid for a teen or kid to say that they're in love? Do you think teens are too yound to feel love? Just wondering.

I believe love is both taken too lightly and taken too seriously. There are some cases where I have been in love, and have become obsessive to the point of wanting to die, and it wasn't out of physical attraction (they weren't Asian). However I *do* have a flare for the theatrics so there are times when I dramatize things a bit too much. However, if things had run how I wanted them to I am sur eI would still "love" them, instead of forcing myself to stop thinking about them....

Humanity cannot know love.. its to abstract for our little human brians to conceive. People just lust eachother until, after years, they form a depenancy on eachother.

You are only saying that because you probably never felt in love.
I did fell once and I was only 14. Couldn't stop thinking about her, even got drunk and high...

I thought I was in love once . . . Then I realised that the warm fuzzy feeling was me with the flu and a wool comforter around me.

I dont think teenage love is wrong. Did anyone hear about the 15 year old and 12 year old that ran away because no-one beleived that they were in love? Its not actually lame for a teen to be in love, its just that you dont see it isnt lame until you are actually are in love.

Ever read Romeo and Juliet? Didn't think so. 16 year old and a 12 year old decide to get married 6 hours after they meet. Oh, it's love! Gimme a f**kin break, will ya? It's a f**kin story about a preteen experiencing her first period w/ full fledged mood swings and an overemotional disturbed teenager in hot weasel lust.

Of course, all the people that said teen love is lame and doesn't happen have obviously not felt it before. Those are generally the kind of people that think if it can't be scientificly proven, it's wrong.

Riiight. Isn't love supposedly an emotional bond made of chains of feelings that can't be broken, or some such other bullnuts? Meanwhile teenagers fall in and out of love more than Bob Dole speaks in the 3rd person. You can be a die-hard romantic, but it doesn't mean you're in love. Please, get past this.

I think teenagers are capable of being in love, but the general problem is that most teens 'love' is actually lust...
And yes, Romeo and Juliet is lust not love. Horny Bastards...

Meanwhile teenagers fall in and out of love more than Bob Dole speaks in the 3rd person. You can be a die-hard romantic, but it doesn't mean you're in love. Please, get past this. That's exactly what I mean. You know it's love when you feel an inmeasurable amount of relief in your heart when you talk to that person. You feel like you could sit and talk with them for hours upon hours at a time. You feel that that one moment when you're talking to them that you have no other worries in the entire world. You feel like your entire body is at ease when you're with them. The most distinctable difference between lust and love is that love cannot be explained by mere words. It can only be explained to you by yourself whenever you feel it. And you know when you feel it.
