Do you believe in the effects of the laws of causality? It's similar to fate; but more like karma. Causality is basically action and reaction- everything you do has a reaction. That everything you do has a consequence, and the effects of your actions are perpetual. Also, if you ever notice how it seems history repeats itself, did you ever think that it might be true? Only difference being that it repeats in different ways. Given this, you could say cauasality is a spiral- it never ends and is always shaped the same way, yet with each level of the spiral it's different, whereas if causality moved in a circle, it'd simply be history repeating exactly. The reason I brought this up is because I am reading the Berserk manga, and the entire plot focuses around causality and how it effects everything. You may also have heard the French dude in Matrix Reloaded talking about causality and how it is the only constant truth in existence. So, to get to the question again, do you believe causality holds dominion over everything and that our actions always produce inescapable fates that we are doomed to suffer through time after time in many different ways? Or do you believe that actions are reversable and that things have different results even if decisions produce profound fates?
Another thing, do you think that cause and effect are always connected by reality, or do you think that their connection has no basis in reality and is based purely on logic, that cause and effect are independent of one another? (These are the most common two concepts of causality)
