Is there any tutorial somewhere i can read ?
So far i have seen anim for some magics like defense up or attack up working on a monster and casted by the monster but it's not what i am looking for...

if you have a battle animation of this monster, you can animate it.

ok, more prcision needed. I use rm2k and the idea is of course to watch the anim before the party is hit. How do i call the anim before the hit ? using a parallel process ? a common event ? etc... I can't find any tutorial about this.

I am assuming you are talking about a monster casting a spell which has a visible effect on the screen, but is attacking the player, rather than buffing the monster, right?
If this is the case:
Add a new skill in the skills tab, say - Special Attack. Change its classification to 'Switch'. Make sure you tick the 'Battle' checkbox, under the heading 'Available at'. Next you want to change what switch it operates ('ON switch'). You'll be best off adding a new switch here, call it whatever you like - for the purposes of this explanation I'll call it 'Monster Skill1'.
Go to the Monsters tab and give 'Special Attack' skill to your monster, let's call him 'Norb'.
If you haven't already made your battle animation, make it now. I'll call it 'Norb Special'. You probably want it's 'Apply Scope' to be all.
Now click on the Monsters Party tab. You will have to add this next step to all monster battles with Norb involved. Add a 'New Page' to the battle events, make its trigger 'Monster Skill1'. Underneath, insert a 'Show Battle Animation' and select 'Norb Special', with Wait Till End Animation checked and Target as All Group. Assuming this effects all our party, just subtract however many HP the attack does from all the party. Finally, insert a Change Switch and switch off 'Monster Skill 1'.
That about wraps it up. I didn't test this but it's a simple enough proceedure. Any problems, let me know.
Bear in mind I'm using RPG Maker 2000, version 1.05b for this explanation, so I cannot guarantee that your translation will fit word for word, but it'll be near enough.
