Welcome Welcome, one and all to the second edition of the KH RPG2: Double Take. In the advent of the announcement of KH2, I have been inspired to start a new edition! I promise some new and interesting things this time around, along with some revised rules:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Character Setup:
You'll want to take a look below so you know what to do.
Name:
Age:
Gender:
Home World Theme:
Weapon of Choice:
Path:
Sacrifice:
Techs/ Magic:
Eidolons:
Costume/ Looks:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Character Setup Outline:
Name/ Age/ Gender/ costume/ Looks: Up to you. No bearing except rational constrictions.
Home World Theme: Choose a theme for your world, IE: Mideval, Western, Ice, etc. Do not choose the same world as another player unless you are somehow related to their character. Try to be creative. No repeat worlds unless characters are somehow related.
Weapon of Choice: Most of you are wondering who gets a keyblade, and who doesnt. To show no favorites, EVERYONE gets their own type of keyblade (this will fit into the story). However, you can disguise your keyblade into an "Alternate", which basically means you can change your keyblade into another weapon based on your path (see below). Of course, if you dont want a Keyblade, that is fine too.
Paths/ Sacrifices:
@ Path of the Guardian- Protect and guide your Friends. You'll have the power to block magic and physical attacks. Get lots of items and equipment. The true balance, Eidolons favor the Guardian. You can have little magic, but and little techs. Change Keyblade into any weapon
**Sacrificing the Guardian will mean that you are much weaker.
@ Path of the Warrior- Have the power to destroy your enemy. If you choose this as your path you cannot summon or use magic, but can have tons of techs, and can move very heavy or large objects. You will be able to change your keyblade into Swords, Partisans, and other various heavy bladed weapons
**Sacrificing the Warrior means you have little strength.
@ Path of the Mage- Use the mystical power of magic, as well as command the power of the Eidolon; however, you cannot use any techs. Mages are very intelligent, and can transform their Keyblade into Staffs, Wands, Orbs, or other magical type objects (check with me if you have another weapon)
**Sacrificing the Mage means you have no magic (if you are a Deviant or Guardian, you cannot sacrifice this Path).
@ Path of the Deviant- As a deviant, you will be able to command the shadow magic like a Heartless. This includes Shapeshifting, Shadow melding, and minor teleportation. This however leaves you open to losing your heart. This is the hardest path to play on, as abusing your shadow magic will make you go insane. You will have incredible defence against the heartless magic however. Dark magic availible only (using dark magic like gravity and stop and alike will not go towards you turning into a heartless). No Eidolions. You will be able to change your keyblade into anything, which can meld into yourself if you so desire.
**Sacrificing the Deviant means you have little magic defence.
@ Path of the Agile-- Agiles are of course fast. They have a fair amount of magic (non elemental) and techs of any sort, though no Eidolions. Agiles can change their keyblade form into small weapons such as knives, nunchucku, sais, or what have you.
** Sacrificing the Agile means a lack in speed
Heres a table for those who are lost:
*******Magic****Techs**** Eidol**** Str*****Sacri
********--------------------------------------------------
Guardian*Lo******Lo****** Yes***** Def*****Def
Mage****Hi****** No******Yes***** Mag****Mag
Warrior** No******Hi****** No******Str*****Str
Deviant**Mi******SP******No******MDef****MDef
Agile**** Mi****** Mi****** No******Spd*****Spd
(NOTE: This time around your sacrifices will have major effects. Get blasted by a spell and sacrficed the Deviant? Youre screwd. Likewise, your strengths will be helpful. Choosing a Guardian and having even a buster sword swung at your face will result in not much more than a nose bleed. These of course are exagerations, but it gets the point across)
Magic/ Techs: Make them up based on path
Eidolion: You will aquire these along the way. Only Guardians can choose 1 to start with if they so desire. Choose anyone from any FF, so long as its fair.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Co-GMs
In the past I've had problems with lack of motivation, or just not being here, on my part. I am hiring co-GMs to keep everything moving. I'll try to share my story as best I can with them, but I also realize I probably will not have the chance to fill them in. So they'll just have to be creative. What they say/ do will become canon, unless under EXTREME circumstances. This being said, its important to take note of what they say incase your actions may be in contrary to the story that is being set up. This shouldnt be a big deal, as we will try to be as open as possible.I am currently considering to people for this position already, but if you would like to apply anyway, by all means do so.
Co- GM 1: Patryn
Co- GM 2: Vera
(NOTE: RESERVE CLAUSE: I, Gimdin7 the GM, reserve the right to modify the rules under extenuating circumstances or when nessisary. Note of these changes will be announced)
