(d**n THE CONFUSION. OK, Rolin told me his sad story, lets say I skipped a beat because of how crushing it was. Then barry came up to me, and Rolin kinda slipped away to talk to Thorn or whatever. Maybe me and Barry ahd soem dialog, I don't know, it's a tad too late now. Let's just all go into the place and be accepted, go on the trip, and be a happy adventuring family. K?)

(Okay, to make this interesting, we're just skipping a whole bunch.) And verily, did the time for testning come! (Now keep this in mind guys. Each race will have a different test/s. Therefore, you get to make up your own. Just keep it within reasonable bounds. IE: Being able to skip ain't gonna get you into an adventuring group ) Raven was one of the first to be taken for testing. Of course, this didn't really matter. A couple minutes, and a couple hundred dollars (Or gold, or gems, or zeny, or whatever.) after being chosen his name was on the list of qualified personel and he was out the door.

Finally, it came for Rolin's turn. He walked in, and was asked to walk into a back room. He pushed back his cloak to his shoulders, revealing all of his equipment. The door was opened, and he walked in.
Immediately, two men grabbed his arms and crossed them behind his back. They both pushed forward and down. One of them tried to knee him in the back but ended up kneeing Rolin's tremendous blade. Because of this, he ended up jumping back and hopping about, holding his knee.
Rolin planted his other foot in front of him and pushed back into the man behind him, knocking him back. Rolin regained his balance and found himself with a sword across his neck.
<We don't need demons like you ruining something this important.> a man said from behind him.
<That's not a bad suggestion, I may just do that.> Rolin said, grinning. He jumped up and pushed himself into the blade to prevent any strong impact. The blade was pulled back as quickly as possible and by doing this, slit Rolin's shirt and sent him on an off-balance spin in the opposite direction.
The man wielding the sword charged at him as the two men that grabbed him just seconds before ran to another corner of the room where a few swords layed.
Rolin unsheathed his broad sword with his right hand, so that it was held upside-down. He turned his head, then turned around the rest of his body. As the other man with a sword lept at Rolin, bringing the sword down across from his shoulder, Rolin brought his blade down tight to cause the angle of his sword's trajectory downword. The blades clashed and were each flung back, followed by their wielders. Rolin took advantage of the momentum, turned around, and punched his opponent from behind as he was already falling down.
Rolin took a rather long, thin-surfaced vile from his coat, and threw it at the ground in front of himself. He immediately ran, and attempted to sheathe his blade in the process. The contents of the vile were a few chemicals with water that expanded to form a thin veil of gas that Rolin's chasers choked and gagged on until they ran back away from the cloud, which shortly dispersed afterwards.
He ran out of the room, then out of the side door and into the plaza. Rolin looked around and entered the nearest alleyway, then started walking normally, just thinking as he walked, with no true destination . . .
Rolin muttered a few curses under his breath, then grinned, while saying to himself, <To think, I used my best stuff before the trip even began.> Rolin began to laugh to himself as he continued his walk down a lonely side alley, with nothing to tend to but his thoughts.

And so it had come to pass that Keirin was next to be tested. A man dressed in a long black trench coat with many buckles walked out of a back room. The man looked around, <Is there a Keirin Utmara here?> Keirin quicky got to his feet. <That would be me.> The man's face took on a look of utter disgust at the sight of the half breed, not unnoticed by keirin. <So what is this test I must take?> The man looked at him and laughed, <TEST? There is no test for your kind, if you keep walking down this corridor there is the exit.> Keirin gripped his spear firmly, but he held back his urge to kill the man. <I passed the examinations just as everyone else did, and I deserve a d**n shot!> The man only smiled a mocking smile, and said this, <come.> Keirin was led to a Gigantic room filled with piles and piles of junk. <They tell stories of your race, which I do not believe, but if you can find the single beetle that I placed in this room in one hour, your test will be complete. Keirin set off into the huge room and the piles of junk, searching, searching for signs of the single beetle. 30 minutes later a small sound crossed his sensitive ears, it was the sound of insect wings. Keirin cautiously and quietly walked over to where he heard the small noise, he found the small beetle minding it's own business and he instantly pounced on it. Keirin casually walked up to the man with a wide grin and a beetle in hand.<Here is your beetle, enjoy.> A look of surprise filled the man's face, <Bu-but I never put a beetle in here!> Keirin smiled at the man as the man had to him earlier, <You fool, there are many beetles in there, beetles love junk and a mere human could never take all the bugs out, it's common sense.> Keirin laughs to himself and then exits, leaving the over-confident man standing there, stunned.

Elengar waited patiently to be called in for testing. He noticed that many others were failed on the spot because of their race, and he felt that he would suffer the same outcome.
A few minutes later, a man stepped out of the large building, designated for testing, and walked to Elengar. "You, Nortom. It's your turn." Elengar said nothing. He stood up and followed the man into the room. "Right this way," the man said as he walked into a massive room with shelves that stood 10 feet high. Each shelf was completely filled with books.
As he entered the room, a second man come from another entrance. He noticed that this man was most likely of nobility because of his fine clothes and clean shave.
"This is your test, Nortom. Find the Book of Handor Ruling in this library. You have 1 minute to find it. Go."
Elengar began to walk passed the man who was counting, "2...3...4..." He stopped when he was directly beside him. Elengar faced the man and smiled. He reached into the mans coat and pulled out the Book of Handor Ruling. "How did you...?" the man said with much confusion on his face.
"When I first noticed you, I imagined you of noble blood because of your clothes-" he was interrupted.
"Anyone can buy these clothes as long as they've got the money!"
"True, which is why I preceeded to walk to your right side. I noticed your blade and that it had a family emblem on it's hilt. You tried to fool me by wearing a different family emblem, but only one noble family wears their blade on the right side. The Handor. It is required that all members of the Handor family are to have their codebook with them at all times"
The Handor sighed heavily. "Fine...You pass. I guess we could use someone of your knowledge of the world."
"Thank you for your time," Elengar slightly bowed and exited the building. "That went easier than I had imagined," he said to himself as he put his black hood over his head.

OOC: ~The Late Arrival~
Name: Azriel Wyzdor
Age: 24
Race: Human
Class: Blade Master (a combination of Knight and Mage. A Red Mage with better combat skills, if you will. )
Weapon: Two swords, one long and one short. Dagger hidden in boot.
Personality: While friendly and kind, Azriel has never really had decent friends. The reason for this is he bears fierce scars from an incident that happened when he was eight that killed his father. He never spoke of what it was, and his mother, who is now dead of last year, never told anyone, and became very cold towards her son. Safe to say, he's already been judged before anyone truely knew him, but he doesn't let that get him down. He's eager to prove his worth, be doesn't let anything go to his head. He'll often crack jokes and try to lighten the mood, practically the opposite of his mother. He has dreams of becoming rich, getting a good home, and raising a family, most likely to not become like his mother.
Appearance: Over 30 scars, variating in size, cover his body, including non-visible parts. Most noticable are the three on his face: one going from the left corner of his mouth to the edge of his jaw on that side, another across his right eye at a 65 degree angle, and one horizontally across the back of his neck. He wears a sleeveless shirt, thick boots, and fairly loose pants. A black bandana is wrapped around his head, possibly hiding another scar. A broken circle scar has been made on his right shoulder, but that was a birthmark. His brownish-blonde hair hangs down a bit, like short bangs. His left eye is blood red, thanks to the color cells being eaten away, so he is color blind in that eye. His right eye is a rich blue. His walk has a kind of swagger to it, it makes him look thingyy but not that thingyy. A gold ring is worn on his left hand on the ring finger, and a pendant with a emerald dangles around his neck.
Notes about magic: he can use a few spells, both traditional, such as fire and teleport, and sword tech spells, but rarely does as it drains he energy more than it would a normal person.
IC:
Azriel was leaning against the wall beside the door when Raven came out. Raven didn't notice him, and Azriel was silent for a moment. "What did you think of it?" he asked after a moment.

(OOC: I take it you mean you're outside the test building)
"Eh? Oh...the test...It wasn't that difficult. I'm sure you'll do fine." Raven says, then walks off without even looking at the figure.

Azriel laughed. He'd taken the test over an hour ago, but of course, no one seemed to care. His test had been rather easy, only requring him to find a way to destroy a solid stone, only using what he had at his disposal. He could however use magic on his surroundings, but not the stone itself. He had an hour, and it took 20 minutes for the stone to break. He simply pushed the rock into the pool that was in the room, after, cracking it with his swords and making the water extremely cold and icy with his magic. the water make the small crack bigger and bigger, until the stone broke in half.

The young green skinned child was next in line to take the test. Her test was to find a way to get a small device up high on a wall... the others snickered and thought the young child would be unable to get the item since she was so tiny and frail looking. She smiled and walked up the wall pressing her hands on the wall. She then pulls out a small gadget and twists a key into the back of it then places it on the ground. It then zooms up the wall, hits the item down, then returns to the young girl. She picks up the item, smiling. Her test was over... she soon exited the building as well.
