I know that many of you don't like sports games and such, but I know of at least a couple of you who do. Anyway, the following was released from EA Sports: "No other football game delivers on the spirit, atmosphere, and emotion of college football like NCAA Football 2004. Celebrate the history of college football with classic teams like the 1924 Notre Dame Fighting Irish, or replay one of 20 greatest college football games from the last two decades. NCAA Football 2004 features new pre-game tunnel presentations and the rush of ripping down the goalposts after an emotional victory over you biggest rival. "Yes, you read correctly, tearing down the goal posts after a big win! This is great! Screenshots are not available and may not be until E3. BUT The release date has been set as July 1st! Nearly a month earlier than normal. No word yet on online play, but Madden's online compatibility was not announced until E3 of last year. The news released so far is great indeed and I look forward to updating this thread with newer, better news.

Down with EA Sports! SEGA SEGA SEGA! I'm a fan of sports games. The only ones I buy nowadays are Sega Sports games since EA just hasn't impressed me lately. I also like the pro sports games better than college. EA does have the best college football series, I'll give em that. For NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB I will go with Sega Sports.

I love EA Sports. SEGA's football players are too tall and gangly for me. Not to mention that their stadium renditions are horrible. The gamplay overall sucked in my opinion. That ESPN license sure is purty though...
NFL: I'll still take Madden over a 2k game anyday. NBA: SEGA's pro-hoops games look great, just haven't played them yet. NHL: While I haven't gotten around to the SEGA NHL games, I liked the EA version. The controls did seem a bit ackward at first however. MLB: Before the fall of Triple Play and it's terrible showing last year, I followed EA Sports in the MLB games. Now, MVP has been released and the reviews aren't too hot. I like the All-Star Baseball and High Heat series though.

?? Too tall and gangly?? The player models in NFL2k3 are way better than Madden 2003. Most players actually have their real face too. Sega Sports has the best franchise modes.
The gameplay is what makes the Sega Sports games... Which ones have you sat down to play???
NFL: NFL2K3 is the best out there right now NBA: NBA2K3 is the best out there right now NHL: This one I might actually a lean a lil in EA's favor although NHL2K3 is real fun and has a good franchise mode. MLB: Sega just released World Series Baseball 2K3 for PS2 which is the best baseball sim by far. NCAA Basketball and Football: Not sure about Basketball but EA definately has the best college football game.

Meh. I still like Madden's Franchise mode. Deepness.
And yes, if it were up to me - I would say EA does have the better college basketball game. I got March Madness for Christmas and I love it.
