Not outdated, just inferior ;D
You'll still be able to play all GBA games, at least. Not like GBA SP is going to have a new cartidge format or anything.

[glow=green,2,300]I know, I just don't want to drop down a 100 bucks for a new system just after I got one.[/glow]

You don't have to. IMO you should only get one if you have trouble with lighting, and I do frequently

It doesn't look like it'd be all that comfortble to hold. And if you get the platinum one, people might mistake it for a Palm Pilot or something and try to steal it, lol

I'd rather steal a GBA than a Palm Pilot ;D
And also, the nice folks at Gamespot have informed us that it's just as comfortable to hold as the GBC or GB Pocket, and the L and R buttons feel nicer than they do on the GBA.

I prolly won't buy one unless my gba breaks or something. No backlight doesn't bother me. Good lighting where I play.

My GBA is pretty ghetto right now. I bought it on launch day, and now the screen has a whole bunch of sctraches and smudges that I can't wipe out, the peg for the battery cover broke, so that's gone, and my little brother tore off the bar code on the back, so I taped it back on, cause it looks tacky without the barcode (He didn't peal the sticker off, he pulled off the top layer, meaning the sticker is still there, just no code). I prolly wouldn't buy the SP right away though, cause I don't have $100 to use on a system I pretty much already have. It's cheaper to jsut buy rechargable bgatteries, and a FloodLight or something

Dang man! I also got mine near launch and mine's fine. You should hide it somewhere when your not using it!

I'll buy it, I need two GBAs so I can play with people who don't have one.

You can buy screens for your GBA for only about $5.00 (call Nintendo or get one at Toys R Us or Electronic Boutique).
