Lately, I've had Street Fighter on the brain, buzzing around like an unkillable bee. So I've decided to buy SF Alpha 3 for GBA on Friday. I've heard mixed opnions about it, saying that the button scheme and tiny D-Pad don't work well, but I've also heard many more positive reviews. GameSpot have it an 8.4 out of 10, which means it's gotta be good, right? Anyone have any input on the game, if they've played it?

I have it for my PS and it kicks arse. Ken's the best on that game Or Rolento. I dunno how good the GBA version is though.

I have the playstation version too. It is good, but I would be concerned about how the GBA version plays with only 2 buttons (4 if L and R are attacks)

Street Fighter... I've been playing that since I was 4. I have Capcom VS SNK 2 for the PS2, which is great and has about 50 characters. Alpha 3? you should download the CPS2 version. Same thing as the GBA, except that the graphic is much better, and more characters. Heh, nice topic name.

lol, I haven't read 8-bit in so long. Anyway, I got Alpha3 for my GBA, but d**n that game is freaking hard! I'm only on 2-star difficulty, and they're harder than human oppenents. Blanka literally made me his pregnant dog. Crawfish (The developer) shoulda dumbed down the AI a bit for the lower difficulties.

I always considered Blanka as the weak character. Lately, they've been making him too strong.

They should sacrifice some of Sagat's power, and give him a little speed. I mean, he's got legs half as tall as Ryu, he should be able to move a little faster than a 5-year old crippled girl

Balrog is a underrated character but still, no one compares to Ken in SFA3.

*shudder* Balrog...Just hearing him yell out "FINAL" get's to me...and yes...it's almost an instant kill. I'd rather use Akuma, or Evil Ryu though. Akuma mainly because of the Hurricane kick, Dragon Punch combo, and Evil Ryu because well...he's evil.
