Hey! I was wondering, I have a PS2, and I love the Final Fantasy series, so, can anyone answer my question? I know you can play FFXI online, but on the PS2 version, can you ALSO play it WITHOUT being online? Like, just alone, or with a friend? If you could answer my question, I'd appreciate it!!! ;D

That's no conspiracy theory, Rpger. It's blatantly obvious and plus the fact that it is made for being played online, not for one player.

If you don't like it, play one of the other 10 Final Fantasy games. They are all 1 player.

If you don't like it, play one of the other 10 Final Fantasy games. They are all 1 player. That is, apart from FF9, which has a setting where you could set characters to be controlled with the other controller. But thats not really 2 player, is it? *punches self*

*eni-meanie-mini-mo! picks this one out of several FFXI threads*
A question for someone more informed than me. Does the $99 PS2 harddrive include FFXI or do you need to buy FFXI seperately?

Eventually, you have to pay a monthly fee and pay for each characters you create(except the first one),but I'm sure some will create servers to play for free...who knows? For the PC version of course.

That's no conspiracy theory, Rpger. It's blatantly obvious and plus the fact that it is made for being played online, not for one player. I need to stop adding Brackets for effect. I was using the conspiracy thing sarcastingly, but it's kinda hard to show that in type. On to the subject at hand, someone will either get a free server or possibly hack it, but if they hacked it I doubt it would stay up very long, even if it was underground.
