Hullo, just dropping by to say you are my hero and if this game doesn't reach at least demo stage then I will cry tears of sadness and despair.
PEACE OUTSIDE! STAY INDOORS!

Righty ho! Just to show you that I haven't given up on this project yet (it's been about 3 weeks since I started it, I've normally given up on a project by that kind of time period!), I've decided to take a few more screenshots of what I've been doing. I've been working on the first dungeon mostly, and so there is a lot of repitition in these pictures, but I have also tried to demonstrate certain features of the game. These will be my official screenshots for now. www.pbenstead.plus.com/files/CVQ/offscreen/A battle, unsurprisingly. Everything aside from the RTP system set (probably will be changed) is by me, apart from the Mack and Blue, obviously. You've seen this one before; added to give a little variation. One of the areas in the dungeon. Go to the left and you're presented with one of CSC's puzzles; Quibbles cannot enter this bit.Another of the areas, this being only accessible to Quibbles (first time round).Another part of the dungeon (with the left part of the shot being in a screenshot further up the page, of course). Quibbles and CSC will travel through the same dungeons at certain points, although there will be areas open only to CSC and likewise with Quibbles. At the moment, the game is going to be a fairly simple RPG in terms of its battles and such, but don't worry: I am still putting a lot of emphasis on the battles. This is most evident in what I have planned for each mode: CSC's game will be more action orientated, having him performing silly tasks and his battles will be set at a reasonable difficulty; Quibbles' game will have more conventional puzzles, perhaps requiring more thought, and the battles will be a little tougher (a blue blob thing fighting against demonic bunnies was always going to be a noticeable mismatch). If you have ever played 'Illusion of Time/Gaia' (one of my favourite games of all time, and so no doubt will be an influence), then I am planning to incorporate a system aquin to the 'Red Jewels': you'll have to hunt out a certain number of these secret items to unlock minigames. Some of these will be fairly easy to find, others will require a little more searching out (indeed, there will be one in the dungeon that is intended to reward anybody who believes they can find a bug in my dungeon ^_^), and so I shall have to come up with some super duper surprise to reward those who find the most. Kay, all for now.

These are great screens, especially the one of the battle. ^_^ Really love it.
This game is starting to actually inspire me to work on more of my older comedic RM2k/RM2k3 projects. Though I'll have to start from scratch, but still, those screenshots are driving me to recreate them...
P.S. Illusion of Gaia is a great game. I loved to play it, until I lost it... Anyway, I can't wait to see some of those elements in the game. ;D
