So I'm not 100% sure if I'm gonna make a game based on this idea so I'm posting it here before starting it. I really wan't to know what the people think is good and I'm trying to make a game that people would enjoy. Ok, enough ranting and on to the story!
The story of Nathan Fawn:
In AoD you follow the story of, Nathan Fawn a 38 year old knight. It starts off when he is reading a letter that his dead friend left him. After finishing it he is attacked by a band of unkown assasins. He successfully fends them off and heads out to his home land Ishkis'Tyrmal. There he makes a report to his queen, Selenne. He tell's her that he has to leave the knights in order to investigate the sudden death of his friend but instead of letting him go the queen sends him to jail.
And thus starts the story of Nathan.
The story of Alec Fawn:
AoD has nothing to do with Alec Fawn but I feel that it is important to explain things from the past so you can understand things what happen in the present. Alec is Nathan's father. He has spent his whole life as a half human half demon man since he was cursed by his father, Croll Fawn. He swore an oath to track down his father and slay him in hope of lifting the curse. On his quest he met many friends but probably the most remarkable one of them was, Daina Fall, Nathan's mother. In the end Alec found Croll but was slayed by his father.
The story of Croll Fawn:
Unlike Alec and Nathan, Croll never relied on a sword. He was a wizard of light. In the time of Croll a malevolent Dracolich rose up again to oppose Neheim. Croll embarked on a quest to destroy the Dracolich but on his quest he fell in love with a girl named Heina Lore. They travelled the vast lands of Neheim with a band of warriors to the middle of the earth where the Dracolich waited them. Croll Fawn succeeded in banishing the Dracolich in to a gem wich turned him insane. He captured all the people that had helped him slay the Dracolich and started to do horrible experiments on them. He practiced Necromancy on them. The disease of insanity had gone so bad in to him that he knew that he wouldn't last long so he raped Heina so his family would continue on his tradition of evil. Soon after Alec was born Croll had put a curse on his son and vanished in fear that his son, Alec might some day become strong enough to kill him.
Explainments:
-The world this story resides in is called Neheim.
-Dracoliches are undead dragons of grate power.
-The gem that turned Croll insane was the gem where they trapped the Dracoliches soul.
So there you have some information about Ascent of Demons.

), reports to queen, and the queen sends him to jail right away? For what reason? And when did this knight business come in? There should be some explaination during the game, because I'm lost. But the whole Alec and Croll thing and all that other jazz sounds good. The game just seems to start too fast.
