How's about an "Assistant Supervisor of a Decling Wallpaper Manufacturer" Always fun to bring down the level of comedy and a twisted sate of WoD to your games .

Hmmm, I'm thinking. Well you could perhaps have a that shady but very powerful character. On the field he's as dry as the sahara in conversation, but in battle he really shows his skill. Perhaps an advanced black mage or a wizard of some sort. By the way, I like the screen. You can tell that you made it .

How about a Shaman? They'd do similar things to an alchemist/brewmaster, almost certainly. The positive points about a Shaman: Cool masks - perhaps he can have a variety? It'll be like dress spheres! Voodoo! A voodoo doll would rock. Can make potions. Perhaps some nature based magics - I'd guess they would be support based really, but if this is going to be a main character choice he might need to be able to solo. It's a shame this class probably won't fit your theme

Ever play Shadowrun, Maxy? It had (and still does because its also a Dungeons and Dragons kind of game) 'modernized' Shamans. They cast magic, had bizzare religious gods, and could even summon things using offerings such as burgers and fries.

No, I haven't, but it sounds very intriguing! What sort of deity accepts offerings such as burgers and fries? That poor guy must have no self esteem. This has, in fact, inspired me to make some perculiar graphics

This has, in fact, inspired me to make some perculiar graphics I hate to keep off topic, but the major gods are Dog and Snake (I think it was a viper). Anyhow, these particular shamans dressed in both the stereotypical garb and street clothes. But then again, it was a world full of orcs, elves, dwarves, modern samurai with Uzis, etc.

Hmm, I sort of like the voodoo thing...though I'm not sure how I'd incorporate that into the game. BTW, here's another screen from the game:

Looking a bit... RTP... Nothing wrong with that, just make sure you make up for it with a good storyline.
EDIT: If you wanted a sort of lone character, you could have a Sniper. He could appear randomly and dissapear at crucial moments throughout the game, similar to Shadow in FF6.

I have a sneaking suspicion that you've been taken in Stunning! It is truly original to use RTP graphics these days - I haven't seen that since 2002!
