I am working on a game called Blade of Reprisal (formerly known as Of Kings and Men). Trust me, I DO NOT want this project to fall flat this time!
Storyline (this is also what comes up at the beginning of the game) - The world is at war. The Akahnian Guard, the warriors of Akahn, and the Dark Crusaders, a barbarian tribe, fight an endless battle across the kingdom of Akahn. King Zagadorn, the ruler of Akahn, is struggling to keep the citizens of his kingdom under control. But, he has had no success. His soldiers can only defend the citizens. However, the endless onslaughts on the many towns in Akahn keep the citizens in constant panic. Not even the Royal Knights of Felnion, an empire to the west, can protect them. All hope has been lost. King Zagadorn fears the worst is about to come. With time, the Dark Crusaders may claim everything that the King worked so hard to keep in his control and order. Now is a time for a hero, but it may already be too late. Who will rise to overcome the Dark Crusaders' conquest? And will this hero give us renewed hope? (below is stuff that does not appear in the game's intro) However, our story follows the nomad Dagutch Lionheart, who travels Akahn, searching for Antoine, the man who murdered the entire Lionheart family. Without his family, Dagutch lives a life full of pain, suffering, and sadness. But what does Dagutch's struggle for vengeance have to do with the war with the Dark Crusaders?
Features -7 characters -Duelling -Dice throwing minigame -Religion system - The more faithful you are to your god, the more your allies will trust you or distrust you. -3 diffferent religions: Zankuism, Algortims, and Jubudism, each with it's own set of rules and bonuses in the Religion system -Ranking system - If you decide to join the Akahnian Guard later in the game, your title will be replaced with a rank, and as it goes up, you can access more of the HQ, and get exclusive items and equipment
I'll have screenshots soon. Just hang in there for a while!

Er, are you sure you meant Christianity, Buddhism and Catholicism? Because Catholicism IS Christianity.

Can I ask you why does it have a bank system since it's the most useless system? NOTE: Unless you make a system that you can carry a certain amount of items at a time

Maxy's right. Catholism is one religion of Christianity.
Also what's good about Custom Face-Charsets? They're sets, anyway.
Otherwise, game sounds cool. I like rank system, dice mini-game, and story. Me thinks it's da cool.

Maxy: Well, if you don't really want it there, I could replace it with Jewdism. NeonShadow: Hmm......maybe you're right. A bank system is useless. It's a RM2K game, after all! Who needs wallets? Dragonist Sano: I like to tell people things. I edited the features regarding your opinions.

Maby you would want to make it so that the items have weight and that you can carry a certain amount of items? Not too hard to make if ya ask me

The title is a little similar to the novel Of Mice and Men.

Story sounds rather familiar. Something out of the King Arthur legend, actually. England was in chaos, being invaded by the Saxons, then Arthur's dad or grandpa, I can remember which, steps up and ends the war. The notable difference is the hero. Uther was a knight. What kind of person is Dagutch?
Let me express my opinions of the features:
-7 characters: Will they be interchangable at any time, or will some only be with you at certain times?
-Duelling: This isn't unique anymore, alas. But it's fun, no less.
-Dice throwing minigame: Not that difficult, but a good addition.
-Religion system - The more faithful you are to god, the more your allies will trust you or distrust you. This is fairly unique, but does that god have a specific name, and what if your allies don't like the god?
-3 diffferent religions: Christianity, Buddhism, and Jewdism, each with it's own set of rules and bonuses in the Religion system. Maybe you should invent your own, but you could base the principles on these.
-Ranking system - If you decide to join the Akahnian Guard later in the game, your title will be replaced with a rank, and as it goes up, you can access more of the HQ, and get exclusive items and equipment. A modified version of leveling up, eh? Always good.

It's JUDAISM, people. If you're going to include an existing religion, at least know how it's spelled (knowing the doctrines of said religion would be nice if you are even remotely serious of including them in a game). Because it's unlikely either of the two conditions will be fulfilled, I suggest you make up your own religions for your game.
By the way, replace Buddhism with Islam. If you're doing three only, and two are of the Abrahamic faiths, you may as well include the third. Not to mention those three are more likely to fight amongst each other.

Strange isn't it? I advertise my game and within one week someone has taken my idea. Why not just call the game of Mice and Men and be over with it.

Because that would be extrodinarily stupid as I really liked the book, and I can tell you that will be unimpressed if he calls it that. He's smart NOT to call it that.

Your opinion matters to me, so now I answer your questions!
NeonShadow: The bank system was useles, and I HATE the DnD-styled item weight system. Shouldn't an RPG NOT have something that tedious?
BMZ: Described in the first post, Dagutch is a nomad. His whole family was murdered (his immediate one, at least) by one man, and he wants revenge. In the game, he's focused on vengeance, and he wants to atone himself the life of sorrow by settling the score with the murderer. Now, onto the game feature questions. The characters can be switched from a Monestary, or on the World Map using a Cross. Kinda like Legion Saga. I changed the religions to Zankuism (based off of Christianity), Algortism (a custom one), and Jubudism (a custom one). You'll find out about the latter 2 in the game. The gods are Zanku, Alogrti, and Jubudai.
Modified the features to match the answers to these questions.

What about the title of the game?

The title is as it is. Of Kings and Men is the OFFICIAL title of the game. I named it this so that any sequels don't have any numbers in it, like Atonement of Kings and Men or Anarchy of Kings and Men. (THESE SEQUELS ARE NOT GOING TO BE MADE! Well, maybe they will, but it might be a different name.)
