This post is also in the Legion Saga forum, but I wasn't getting much feedback from the board, and so I've decided to start a topic here. I haven't much to tell you, since most of the basic information is on the site. I update it very often, and make many changes throughout the course of my game's creation (Heh, I can never make one decision and stick to it.) The demo will be nothing very flashy -- That is, in comparison to the full release. The demo will basically give you an idea of the story, and hopefully leave you in suspension so I have a reason to continue with the project. Most advanced features you'll see in the demo are a few custom animations (In both charsets and battle animations), the duel system (Right now it's rather plain and buggy, but enough so that it gets you through.), and finally the hunting system (which to my knowledge, hasn't been included in any game so far.) I'm not looking for this game to be a major hit, however I'm sure that it can compete with the rest of the fan games that will be coming out soon. This game is basically a method of improving my skills with programming, since I'm quite new to RM2K/RM2K3. fictional-realm.tripod.com/LSG/

I doesn't matter that you weren't getting feedback, this belongs in the Legion Saga section, period.

Don't be so harsh, BMZ. It seems like a good idea to post his game here also seems this page probably gets more hits from a wider range of people. Also, his topic can fit into both of these sections so I don't see a huge problem with it.

I doesn't matter that you weren't getting feedback, this belongs in the Legion Saga section, period. You say that as if you were an administrator. Who are you to say where my posts have to go? Sure, the post has to do with Legion Saga, but the "Game Makers General" section clearly states that people can advertise their game here, which is what I'm doing. You're gonna have to acknowledge the fact that you haven't any status dealing with board moderation, so keep your post-related opinions to yourself. If you have a problem, don't tell me, talk to The~Inquisitor, otherwise you're gonna end up pissing people off. (Geez, what a way to start a thread.) Anyway, I'll be accepting any "positive" comments about the game. If you've something bad to say, please state it in some form of constructive criticism. That would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You're judging my thoughts of BMZ based on that one post of hostility. I don't dislike him. In fact, I think he's pretty cool. Anyone who would want to commit to something for the enjoyment of others is cool to me. I was just proving a point, which you missed. I said that he might start pissing people off, not start making people dislike him. I wasn't going to simply let him express his opinion in such an agressive manner without saying something back. So can we please drop the whole "This belongs in the LS forum" crap? It's here, and that's that, there's nothing any of you can do about it now, since The~Inquisitor doesn't seem to mind it.

I'm not really an official proper mod. It's Psygon's comments you should pay attention to.

I would normally lock this and tell people to post in the LS forum, especially after Johan's last post, but this guy seems pretty adamant about leaving it here, so I'll let it pass.

Thank you very much. All I wanted was for this game to gain some kind of recognition, because it wasn't getting it in the LS forum. That game sounds pretty cool.. I hope you finish it.. and I don't care what forum its in.. I'll definately finish it, there's no doubt about that. I'm only not sure of the final release date. I'm not making any CMS' or CBS', which usually prolong the release of games, so it won't be too long. On the other hand, the demo is almost complete. After several tests I've found that the game has been rid of many bugs, though I'm sure there are still some there. Depending on how the day goes, I could have a possible release today.

Hm...I hope you didn't post a new message in this topic and then delete it to bump this topic, Johan. I seem to remember this topic being much further down the page earlier on and no other posts were made after the last one.
(Not including this post of course)

*Moves on, having already cleared that up with Inq* For those who are interested, the demo is up. So far I've had no complaints about the download, though I'm afraid I can't say the same for the game itself. I've had about 3 others play through the game, and so far, I've fixed all that I could according to them. Feel free to point out any errors, glitches, or bugs that I may have in the game. That would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. fictional-realm.tripod.com/LSG

1. Kamau approved this, right? Yes? Good. 2. "Leaving no trace in the wake of his departure?" Sorry, man, but please don't use advanced vocabulary unless you know how. 3. "However, upon acknowledging the death of his father, ..." Wait, what? 4. "Everyday" should be two words...right? 5. "It seems as if you've assumed my fathers role in my life" should have an apostrophe to show possessiveness in "father's."
And that's all I've played so far. I'll do the rest in the morning.
Sorry if I sound too cynical. I do that a lot. ^^;

Sorry if I sound too cynical. I do that a lot. ^^; Yes, Kamau did approve of this, don't worry. And you weren't being too cynical at all, just pointing out certain errors, that's no problem. You were right about 4 and 5, but the rest you were wrong about. I've had this game proof read many times, by both adults and teens. And although they did point out small problems suchs as apostrophes, they said the vocabulary was very good, and fitting for a good story. If you strongly disagree, I can't do anything about it. But why not put some of those words in the dictionary and make sure? My grade 12 English teacher, parents, and friends could be wrong.(No sarcasm there.) Perhaps I'll do a thorough check through the text and change it up a bit.
